etic.a in words and deeds All of our products bear witness to our commitment, passion and expertise, and above all to the responsibility we feel towards our employees, customers and indeed future generations. Etic.a is not just a name, it is our way of being.
The EcoVadis assessment methodology entails an analysis of the quality of a company's sustainability management through its policies, actions and results. This is why we decided to go to an internationally recognised certification body to accredit our ESG policies and measure our corporate sustainability. The Silver Scorecard, obtained with initial certification, is just the start of a journey that seeks to give value to our commitment.
Certifies that we we can print on 100% bio-compostable paper. All our products and packaging bear this label, and respective components such as inks or additives are guaranteed to be biodegradable in an industrial composting plant.
This is a guarantee that our products bearing the FSC label are made with raw materials coming from responsibly managed forests, in accordance with rigorous environmental, social and economic standards and fully respecting the chain of custody.
Quality Management System Certification is a guarantee of the care we take in all stages of our production process.
In a bid to constantly improve the way we go about business, we are creating our own Code of Ethics in line with the general principles, rules of conduct and values that the people who work with us and our employees already abide by.
And in 2023 we will obtain two further certifications:
• PDR 125, on gender equality;
• ISO 14001 on environmental sustainability and management.
We are aiming to present our first Sustainability Report in 2024, even though current provisions have not yet made such an instrument obligatory. This will be a way of communicating in a clear and detailed manner etic.a's efforts to always implement sustainable and eco-friendly choices, and it will be a further step on our reporting path, providing complete and comprehensive information to all our partners. It is a commitment that we make to ourselves, to you and to our planet.
